Burnt orange antique Persian Hamedan runner with Tribal Medallions, Keivan Woven Arts / rug gng-4742, country of origin / type: Iran / Hamedan, circa 1920
This antique Persian Hamedan gallery rug (circa early 20th century) features a unique blend of colors and an intricately beautiful design. The central medallions consist of a vertical line of geometric-tribal elements, surrounded by complementary figures in the surrounding field and border. The various shades of gray, ivory and acid green blend beautifully with the burnt orange background.
