Wattles & Sons of Pittsburgh, PA. Elegant work in a Louis XV manner, having engraved free-form foliate scrolled shafts with pierced leafy terminals. Finished with similarly pierced and engraved tines. Monogram is G. These were purchased by my grandmother from the estate of wealthy coal and railroad family member, Alice Thaw, mother of Harry K Thaw, mother-in-law to Evelyn Nesbitt , the girl in the velvet swing. Note dimensions are approximate 5 1/2" long X 3/4' wide X 1/4" high. I will include a copy of the professional appraisal from 1986. They are used, very very light tarnish, scratches and wear from use. See less
