The lithograph print Pop Art exhibition poster is published by The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis Minnesota. printed in 1983 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the " Hockney Paints the Stage " exhibition at the museum, November 30, 1983 - January 22, 1984. It features an artwork image originally created by Hockney in 1980 titled " Two Dancers ", copyright walker Art Center, collection Sir John Sainsbury.

David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to the Pop Art movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print lithograph print large format framed exhibition poster measures 39 1/4" W X 17 1/4" H X 1" D. It is period custom framed with plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern royal sky blue Nielsen metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The poster print is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and light surface wear.
