The bowls … Read more This is a very pretty pair of ceramic, hand-painted French bowls from the Atelier du Sage in France. The bowls have a floral scroll pattern with reddish flowers and green leaves. The upper portion of the bowls is painted in a burnt sienna color, while the lower portion in a pale yellow color. The bowls have an inscription on the bottom that reads, "Atelier du sage paint main France." The surface of the bowls has light cracks in some places, as reflected in the photos. There are also minor nicks along the edges, as noted in the photos.
