Ceramic vase made by **fratelli fanciullacci**, italy, second half of the 20th century, circa 1965–1975.
this piece perfectly illustrates the italian brutalist aesthetic, characterized by highly expressive surface work and a strong sculptural presence. The slender baluster shape is entirely covered with a thick texture reminiscent of stone or bark, highlighted by wide, raised bands with a white and gold mosaic effect. The contrast between the textured brown background and the luminous inlays creates a powerful decorative effect, typical of tuscan ceramics of the period.
the vase bears the inscription “italy” and a reference number on the base, corresponding to export productions from the 1960s–70s.
