The famous modernist Brno Flat chair was designed in 1929–1930 by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich for the bedroom of the Vila Tugendhat in Brno. This chair was produced according to the original design in the 1990s by the German company Knoll.
The chrome-plated steel frame supports a seat with cream leather armrests and gently rocks thanks to its curved design. The seat is very comfortable and is covered with fabric with black and white KNOLL lettering on the underside. The chair is in great original condition, with minor scratches on the chrome in places, as can be seen in the photos. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
