Important pair of armchairs manufactured by RIMA and designed by Gastone Rinaldi in the 1950s.
Black lacquered tubular metal frame with brass tips. Seat and back with original period upholstery, defined by vertical stitching that enhances the embracing curved silhouette. Sculptural wooden armrests with beautiful natural grain.
A perfect representation of Italian post-war modernism, combining elegance, comfort and visual lightness.
The upholstery shows a charming age patina, a feature highly appreciated by collectors and interior designers. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
