This iconic original PJ-BU-02-A / Pigeonhole desk in teak by legendery designer Pierre Jeanneret. Dark brown re-covered leather top. A single drawer and open pigeonhole shelving. Jeanneret was commissioned by the city of Chandigarh, India, to build and design for the Punjab University Administrative buildings and a few private residences. They were produced between circa 1952 and 1957. Provenance: Sourced from a private french collection by photographer Kalle Gustafsson / Galerie Maison Première. The collection has been examined by renowned swedish furniture conservator and restorator Jon Bjellerup and Ulf Brunne. Document is provided. This item has been renovated, smaller damages - normal wear due to age and use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
