This set of brutalist chairs was produced in the 1970s by maison regain. Iconic examples of 1970s french design, these chairs perfectly embody the brutalist aesthetic: clean lines, an architectural structure, and an emphasis on the raw material. Made entirely of solid elm, they feature a thick and perfectly balanced frame. The warm grain of the wood, typical of regain's production, adds depth and authenticity. The visible joinery and the generous section of the uprights emphasize their sculptural character. The seat and back are upholstered in 3 mm thick leather, subtly patinated by time.
