A rare 1960s Scandinavian bar cabinet attributed to Kurt Østervig, a key figure in Danish modernism, known for his elegant and restrained design, always focused on quality construction and functionality. The cabinet is veneered in teak, with a warm, even grain, and rests on tapered legs that visually lighten the volume.
The distinctive horizontal roller shutter conceals a sophisticated and detailed interior: a section with mirrored walls and a glass shelf, designed to showcase bottles and glasses, flanked by a compartment with small drawers for cutlery and small shelves. An original, functional lighting element is included. The brass handles introduce a subtle textural contrast with the teak.
