Beautiful set of 8 antique asparagus plates in slipware.
Round shape, decorated in relief with 4 asparagus spears, serrated leaves, and an artichoke flower, with a twisted rim.
Made of slipware with a white glaze and enameled decoration in green, purple, and turquoise; the colors vary depending on the glazes and firing (each plate is unique; there are approximately 4 similar pairs).
Early 20th-century model from the French pottery of Salins-les-Bains.
In very good condition, with a few minor firing flaws (see photos). I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
