Marble and Welded Steel Center Table
A teal-painted welded steel base in a French Industrial Modernist style, topped with a green marble round top. The height is a few inches taller than a standard dining surface, making this perfect for an entry hall table to accommodate a statement floral display or large sculpture.
It may have originally been a dessert table, and would be stunning in a conservatory, as well.
The paint has worn and developed a gorgeous patina that can only be found with a time-worn piece. The color of the paint varies from stone gray to a dulled teal. The marble top features tones of deep green with umber and sienna veining.
The table could be used with counter stools if 1” bumpers were added to the feet and a hidden 1” thick round wood substrate was added under the marble.
