This sculptural vessel is an elegant example of mid-to-late 20th-century Italian artistry, likely produced between the late 1960s and the 1980s. Hand-blown using the iconic Fazzoletto—or handkerchief—technique, the piece features a sophisticated Sommerso construction where a core of deep amethyst is artfully suspended within a thick layer of brilliant clear crystal.
