Offered is a vintage, circa. 1970s glazed stoneware vase made by Pottery Craft made in Compton, California.
Key artists that designed for Treasure Craft, which became Pottery Craft, included Robert Maxwell, Ray Murray, Don Winton. This vase resembles the collection of vessels and objects designed by Maxwell, however, he was only affiliated with Treasure Craft for 6 months, while the company underwent changes and continued to produce wares inspired by his original designs. It bears the company's maker's mark towards the bottom of the vase (see photo).
It measures 8.25" at its widest, has a flat round base that is 4.5" in diameter, a mouth that is 3.5" in diameter, and stands 10.25" tall.
