The quality is very good, these examples are made of Mahogany, done with immaculate precision, beautifully parquetry inlaid, and dressed down with fine quality dore gilt / gold bronze mounts. Doors are "left & right" each opening in different direction for easy access. There is a single drawer above the door, featuring a beautiful bronze handle. Pieces are finished on all four sides, hence they can float freely, rather then be against the wall only. They stand on four reeded downward tapering legs, which are all connected with a plateau stretcher for added stability, and great for use by the bed, to leave things on the shelf. Good condition, some age / use wear, recently polished (please see photos). Size is large 36" tall, 15.5" wide, and 15.5" deep. Please give it a good thorough look, the marbles may have been replaced, slightly off in size. This pair can be used by the bed side, as hall tables on each side of the door, or even as a pedestal for sculptures, or as plant stands, they will mesh with any traditional or mid-century modern setting!
