SOLID iron, each chair (not the settee) weighs approx 35 pounds. Marked "Winterthur", as in the museum and estate of Henry DuPont (see below for a brief note and last photo), this beautiful set is done in "faux bois" style to mimic nature, this in tree branches. Simple yet so interesting. In excellent, solid condition. The gold is a refinish, and how I acquired these pieces. It's quite lovely and resembles gilt work.
Not just for outdoors as intended; could have some lovely cushions made to offset the gold and bring them inside. Certainly may be reimagined into any color, or stripped down to its original natural iron black/dark. Please see all photos for a more detailed description.
