Substantial hand thrown studio pottery floor jar signed Diaz and dated 1981. Executed in heavy stoneware with a matte green glaze and incised ribbed band at the shoulder. Traditional storage jar form with small applied lug handles and an unglazed foot. The scale and restrained glaze make it a strong decorative statement piece suitable for floor or large console display.
Good vintage condition. Some white surface splatters present, possibly paint, not cleaned. No visible cracks or repairs observed in photos.
