The piece features a simple wire outline head with spiral eyes and pointed ears, while the body consists of horizontal wire rings that hold CDs vertically. The cat has wire arms extending from the sides and stands on a circular base with feet. The rack displays a playful modernist design typical of the 1990s postmodern era.
