Fuchs was a leading figure of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism and one of the most important Austrian artists of the 20th century. His highly detailed, mystical works combined elements of surrealism with Renaissance techniques. He was friends with Salvador Dali and Jean Cocteau and his works are held in major international collections. This etching showcases his characteristic combination of classical figurative work with dreamlike imagery. Pencil signed and numbered. Presented in elegant gold frame with black velvet mat. See less
