A Mid-Late 19th Century full size sled, in a most gorgeous original green and red paints. All hand constructed out of solid wood and iron. The wood is most likely hickory, ash, or maple, which are known for their strength and flexibility; and the iron is wrought iron also known for its strength.

After all these years the sled is in solid state and has no wiggling at all. But what it does have a 150+ years of beautiful age and patina. Everything on it is original and the result only time and natures elements can produce.

This sled would now make great decor for almost any style; from a cabin, to a rustic look, to an even modern house that wants to add some primitive folk-art feel into its mix. Of course it would be great for a retail store such as a Ralph Lauren style place, or outdoor retail or the likes.

And while we normally do not like to use these type of pieces as coffee tables, in this case it would actually look good.
