Victorian sentimental scene on hillside with families, mother and daughters beside flower cart and lamb, rendered in fine hatching technique by noted engraver G. Bather; issued by Boston firm B.B. Russell at their Cornhill imprint, evoking themes of youth and springtime innocence in the Victorian folk art tradition.
