This mid-century backless sofa bench from Italy is rectangular in shape with upholstered seat raised upon eight nicely carved and turned legs on ball feet. The legs are securely braced and connected with a series of turned stretchers that run along the front and backsides, along the underside of the bench, and cross ways at underside to connect each pair. The seat currently has gold fabric with nail head trim. However, there is some staining to the fabric so it is time for a refresher, a great opportunity to upholster to match your personal design aesthetic. This vintage French upholstered bench, approximately 5 feet in width, would be perfect as seating within a living or entry foyer, or placed at the foot of a bed. See less
