Lacquer trinket box in a striking Chinese red color with black border trim. Finished in several layers of lacquer, giving the outer box the appearance of acrylic. Flocked lining at the interior.

Light surface marks can be seen when tilted in the light (9, 10). Some wear to enamel at interior edges where flange of lid meets box. Corners of underside have adhesive marks from protective pads.
