Original set of six early-1800s hand colored antique botanical prints from Conrad Loddiges' “The Botanical Cabinet” published in 20 parts from 1817 to 1833. The engravings portray "plants from all countries" cultivated in the Loddiges nursery at Hackney, London.
The prints include:
Top Row (L to R): Monkshood (or Wolfsbane), Bossiea, Pondberry
Bottom Row (L to R): Magnolia, Heather, Caladium
These are original antique hand-colored Botanical prints from the early 1800s - not reproductions. Each measures 4 x 6 inches. The engravings are in excellent condition with no imperfections. They are carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert. Included with each print is a certificate with additional information and original page of accompanying text.
