An impressive hand blown and hand engraved 18th century goblet, having a stunning stem
made of several separately fused components, featuring the beautiful air-trapped hourglass shaped segment. The cup is ornately wheel engraved with repeating floral motifs and contrasting hand polished circular shapes.
Circa 1730-1780, having a snapped pontil with some specks of whitish and dark inclusions in the glass indicating that this piece is of the period. Originating from Silesia - a region of Central Europe now located mostly in Poland, with small parts in the Czech Republic and Germany.
