This has been common since the mid 20th century as the design was originated in the city of Usak in Turkey. This runner has soft, muted tones of as beige, ivory, light gold, soft blue, sage green, and hints of terracotta. It has an open, airy composition with repeating central medallions and borders of surrounding motifs of floral patterns, vines, palmettes, and geometric motifs.
