A sophisticated pair of Thomas Pheasant-designed side chairs for Baker Furniture, newly upholstered in designer textiles. The sculptural high-back forms are upholstered on the front in a refined screen-printed linen with a tonal botanical motif in warm ivory and sand, while the exterior backs are finished in a contrasting Rubelli textile.
The tailored upholstery is finished with nailhead trim, and decorative rings accent the backs. Dark tapered legs provide a crisp contrast to the light neutral upholstery.
An elegant and highly versatile pair suitable as dining chairs, occasional chairs, or flanking chairs in a bedroom or living room. The combination of Thomas Pheasant’s design for Baker and newly completed designer upholstery makes this an especially polished pair.
Excellent condition. Newly upholstered with unused fabric. Frames are sound; legs show only minor wear consistent with age.
