A delicate hand-painted Limoges rose plate from turn-of-the-century France, perfect for bringing a soft Parisian romance to a wall or shelf.
This beautiful antique Limoges porcelain cabinet plate features delicately hand-painted pink roses with soft green foliage on a luminous white ground. The romantic floral composition is framed by an elegant scalloped rim richly accented in raised gold gilt.
Crafted in Limoges, France around the turn of the 20th century (circa 1895–1905), the plate bears a green Limoges France mark to the reverse. The painting shows visible brushwork and hand shading, characteristic of artist-decorated porcelain from the Belle Époque period.
Originally created as a decorative “cabinet plate,” this piece was intended for display rather than dining and is perfect for wall hanging, plate racks, or a curated gallery arrangement. A lovely addition to French Country, Cottagecore, Romantic Traditional, or Grandmillennial interiors.
