A very impressive Louis XV-style giltwood French mirror, hand-carved circa 1890 during La Belle Époque. The depth of the carvings is quite amazing, highlighted by the heraldic crest topped by a crown. In the vein of the Rococo that developed during the reign of Louis XV, the elaborate frame is adorned with abundant plant life in the form of flowering margents, vines, and curled leaves.
