This charming primitive paw foot, flip-top desk/cabinet came out of a southern dental office in Walterboro, South Carolina, although it was probably constructed in New England because of the types of wood used, poplar and northern pine. Features include the original turquoise painted interior, all original glass knobs on the interior small drawers and brass pulls on the larger drawers. The two colorful blue green pressed glass interior doors compliment the milk paint and open to reveal a place to hang implements. There is plenty of room for storage with double shelves and drawers in the lower half.
When open the desk measures 31 inches from the floor and 32 inches deep.
Although this is a very substantial sturdy piece, since it has never been refinished or re-painted it does show wear.
