Vintage beaded basket box attributed to Sumatra or the Indonesian archipelago, traditionally associated with wedding or ceremonial use. Hand-constructed basket form richly decorated with dense glass seed beadwork in red, green, and black geometric patterns, accented with cowrie shells and natural seed elements.
The box features a fitted removable lid and a woven interior base, consistent with ceremonial storage baskets used to hold wedding gifts, personal valuables, or ritual objects. Wear, bead loss, and patina consistent with age and authentic use.
