The remaining paint is not easily chipping away. The wood screw top can be opened and closed without much effort. The inside top of Mr. Turtle has pencil and crayon markings from a child’s hand. There is one small hole with a crack in picture #8, on the side of the yellow bottom piece. This does not affect its integrity. less
