Finn Juhl Model 136 Teak Armchair for France & Daverkosen, Denmark, 1950s
Designed and produced in the 1950s, this sculptural armchair by Danish master Finn Juhl is a rare Model 136, manufactured by France & Daverkosen prior to the company’s transition to France & Søn. A hallmark of Scandinavian modernism, the chair features a gracefully contoured solid teak frame with refined joinery and organic lines that exemplify Juhl’s architectural approach to furniture design.
The seat has been newly and professionally reupholstered in a high-quality fabric, offering a fresh contrast to the warm patina of the teak. Marked by the manufacturer, this piece reflects both craftsmanship and design excellence — a true collector's item. This piece has an attribution mark,
