A superb quality French Louis XVI style bureau plat in Tulip Wood. Excellent construction with stunning tulip wood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. Of serpentine form and fitted with crisply cast ormolu mounts throughout. Decorated with fine Sevres porcelain plaques to all four sides. The top is cross banded and fitted with its original brown leather writing surface. with a pair of drawers to the front, with beautiful delicate shell shaped pulls. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a rich colour and patina.
