A superb pair of antique Edwardian carver armchairs. They were made in England, they date from around the 1900-1910 period.
The quality is outstanding, they are an impressive size and have beautiful details. The pierced back rests have gorgeous carving featuring
Prince of Wales feathers, swags and rosettes. They stand on fluted legs and have inlaid satin wood designs on the back rests and under the seats.
We have had them re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric, the condition is excellent for their age. There is just some extremely minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
