Bronze overlay on cast iron make up this small horse statue figurine. A novelty item once used as a tour souvenir it has a worn patina revealing a copper overtone underneath. The horse in a stately stance sits atop a ridged rectangular platform with an oval bronze copper plaqu underneath stating “Carlsbad Caverns” which is a famous place in along the Texas/New Mexico border within the southern United States.
A perfect little decor piece, or as gift for one who is an equestrian lover, or who likes to collect novelty items from America's iconic tourist destinations. I hope you'll make this a "keeper" of your home!
