Each white porcelain body has a cheerful glossy outer glaze in yellow; the elegant silver overlay work consists of Art Deco leaves, blossoms and berries connecting silver bands bands at each foot and rim. These small posy or cabinet vases would make a lovely accent for a windowsill, vanity, bookshelf, or breakfast tray.

Silversmith Manfred Veyhl specialized in hand-crafted silver overlay decoration from 1930 through the 1950s at his studio, Silberporzellanmanufaktur Plüderhausen, in Baden Württemberg, Germany. Vehyl redecorated colorful porcelain blanks with delicate silver overlays crafted from the highest quality silver.

The vases are in very good condition, measuring 3 in. height. One vase is double marked underfoot with a green Rosenthal Selb factory mark and Vehyl's red mark. The other two vases bear Veyhl's red Silverporzellanmanufaktur anniversary mark. See less
