Exceptionally beautiful and rare blue & white transfer-printed landscape ceramic Pearlware platter depicting Kinmount House, a 19th century country house … Read more Exceptionally beautiful and rare blue & white transfer-printed landscape ceramic Pearlware platter depicting Kinmount House, a 19th century country house in Scotland. “KENMOUNT / DUMFRIESSHIRE", printed to the underside, depicting stag deer, people of the era, and swans in the foreground with Kinmount House on a hillside in the background. Grapevine border design. Additional marks to underside include impressed eagle and shield encircled with "ENOCH WOOD & SONS / BURSLEM" and "16". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England; and other. Circa 1825. 16 3/8" X 12 3/8".
