The vertically oriented frame is hand-carved with scrolling acanthus ornamentation, a figural crest at the crown, and a bold mascaron detail at the base. The gilded surface retains its historic patina, with natural wear and tonal variation consistent with age.

The reverse reveals two hand-joined wood planks with visible hand-planed tool marks and period joinery, supporting attribution to late 19th century Italian workshop production.

The mirror plate appears to be a later replacement (mid-20th century), professionally secured and in good reflective condition.
