Hand painted, is a wonderful, soft orange, with some faint dripping, to give it texture and varying shades of orange and some brown. The stem of the pumpkin is on the lid, and like a real pumpkin, it curves, and is painted and shades of green with brown and orange accents. The lid lifts off so that you could serve a stew or soup directly from this piece, the lid has an opening for a ladle handle. Fun piece to use during the holidays.

Nice condition without any damage, no chips, no cracks. Very mild crazing. There are imperfections that occurred during the hand painting of this piece, most notably, there is a smudge of black paint on the side see the photo, there is some over Painting and uneven painting.
