Fresh from a local Rye New York estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this classic PAIR of Vintage … Read more Fresh from a local Rye New York estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this classic PAIR of Vintage American Leather Top Sofa / Bed Side / End Tables by Paine Furniture Company, Boston.Made around the middle of the 20th century, quality beauties made in the desired English / American Regency style. Solid construction, fine quality craftsmanship using quality Mahogany wood and gilt / gold tooled moss green leather on the top. They stand on four straight downward tapering legs, ending in bronze / brass castor wheels (please see photos). There is one deep single drawer with a pair bronze / brass handles, which make it appear as there are two drawers. Cloth tag is inside one drawer "Paine Furniture Company" and "since 1835". Tables are in very good condition, minimal age / use wear, recently polished (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere, as nightstands or in living room, at 24" in height, while the top is 22.25" x 22.25" wide square with curved corners. This will be a nice addition in any traditional or mid-century modern setting ! See less
