We are selling this amazing 19th century wallpaper box. This box has great geometric pop art style paper decoration on a cardboard body. The box is in the form of a top hat and was found with a top hat we have listed separately. The box is so unique in that the design is very similar to the style of the Modernist Victor Vasarely but dates tot he mid 19th century. Possibly attributed to Knowers' Hat & Cap & Warehouse as it was found in the Albany Area.
Condition: Some damages dents and heavy wear including staining and losses. Rim on the top of the box is loose.
