Executed in solid walnut, each chair is richly embellished with fine marquetry inlay featuring floral baskets, scrolling foliage, ribbon-tied motifs, and stylized botanical designs extending across the backs, splats, legs, and aprons. The depth and consistency of the inlay work reflect skilled cabinetmaking and a strong continental tradition of ornamentation.
The chairs present elegant pierced and scrolled backs with flowing uprights, paired with cabriole front legs and gracefully curved rear legs, giving the set a refined yet animated silhouette. Nine chairs share the same decorative scheme, while one chair displays a slightly different inlay motif, a detail commonly encountered in authentic antique sets and consistent with period workshop production or later completion.
