France, almost certainly Paris, mid-20th century, excellent quality, craftsmanship, and solid wood construction, exceptionally executed in elegant and refined 18th century King Louis 15th style, in a restrained Provincial / French country taste, finished on all sides so they can be placed anywhere in the room, having a serpentine shaped top, over curvacious gently contoured shapely bombe-form case fitted with an unusual trio of drawers.

Each cabinet features two drawers to the front and a partially concealed single drawer to the opposing side, all with quality dovetail joinery and affixed with ornate gilt bronze pulls, over a scalloped apron, rising on tall slender gently curved cabriole legs.

Showcasing the desirable soft warm mellow medium wood tones fruitwood is renowned for, enhanced by a realistic faux antique patina finish with imitation worming, scars and mars that add a layer of interest, warmth and historical depth, and ensuring this remarkable pair is sure to add touch of sophisticated antique character, rustic elegance, and old world European charm to any space!

Minor rubbing, abrasions, accretions, typical wear commensurate with age and use. Delivered cleaned, waxed, with hand rubbed patina, ready for immediate use and generational enjoyment!
