The set includes a walnut dining table and eight coordinating ladderback chairs, including armchairs, all executed with the high level of craftsmanship for which Guy Chaddock & Co. is known.
The rectangular table features a parquet-style walnut top with softly chamfered edges and a removable center leaf that allows the table to be used in a more compact form or extended for larger gatherings. It rests on slender cabriole legs carved with foliate motifs, while the scalloped apron is richly detailed with flowing acanthus and floral carving. The warm walnut patina enhances the grain and gives the table an antique character despite its late 20th century production.
The matching chairs reflect the same Louis XV influence, with sculpted ladderback crests, gently curved legs, and hand-woven rush seats providing both texture and comfort.
