The top surface of beautiful gray marble (what appears to be Bardiglio or Turquin) is enclosed on three sides by a short gallery above an open compartment pierced on the sides by little curved handles for transport or simply add visual interest. Four, beautifully turned wood legs elevate the case from the floor.
