Add an eclectic touch to your favorite door with this unique pair of American bronze door knobs with matching bronze door plates designed and manufactured in the 1880s by Lockwood. Note the unusual depictions of the planter with the broken leaf that makes them unlike any other hardware pattern at the height of the Aesthetic movement in America.
The drum-shaped knobs have a bold, untouched patina and the matching door plates have a slightly darker patina than the knobs. They are in very good antique condition with normal wear from age and use. The set screw can be adjusted on one side of spindle and the knob can be adjusted in increments of .25” to fit doors measuring from 1” to 2” thick. The other knob set screw remains secured to the spindle and cannot be adjusted, but serves as a deterrent against theft. Your purchase includes a pair of knobs, a pair of plates and one steel spindle with set screws.
