A work of striking sophistication, this monumental acid‑etched glass vase was masterfully created in France circa 1970. This sumptuous and exceedingly rare objet d'art showcases a richly layered glass composition, meticulously executed with geometric sgraffito detailing emblematic of the modernist aesthetic. The surface presents a dramatic black matte, granite‑textured ground, against which the silvery‑gray geometric motifs appear to shimmer with sculptural depth. The piece bears no visible signature, yet its exceptional craftsmanship speaks unmistakably to the hand of a highly skilled artisan.
