Aizenkobo is a renowned indigo workshop in Kyoto Japan, known for its authentic, botanically dyed threads and textiles.
Authentic Japanese Kasuri, indigo-dyed cotton Inkatha textile. Kasuri is a labor intensive Japanese weaving technique where yarns are resist-tied and dyed before being woven to create specific, slightly blurred patterns.
Purchased while traveling 1970’s, never opened or used. All original paperwork and tags. Vibrant colors still today.
