The image, completely abstract, is constructed in layers of shadows and light, as if the engraving were digging into the very substance of the material. The textures appear eroded, almost fossilized. Shadow is not simply the absence of light, but illustrates the presence of time. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
